p.s.

I wonder if talking about commerce will increase the quality of my google ads on this blog?

while we're waiting

and the lecturer is still handing out documents (20 min. down), I'll transcribe the rest of that first slide for you.

"One of the striking features of the contemporary economy is the rapid creation, adoption and diffusion of innovation."

the efficiency

for a lecture on business innovation, technology and policy, the distribution of subject outlines is surprisingly web 1.0. the lecturer is single-handedly passing out documents to the well over 250 people in this massive lecture theatre. lecture 15 min. late to start and counting...

the folk

the mixture of students is exactly what you'd expect in here. I'll comment more but the most striking thing first-off is the number of surf stickers on netbooks...

sweet!

the lecture hasn't really started, but since that last post -- and the slide it described came up on the projector -- about 20 people have walked out!

this is going to be a test of wills

well, internal wills. sitting down for my first commerce lecture which is in a fucking huge theatre so can sit well back and work on thesis. but, I could also keep you all informed about the current state of pedagogical art in commerce. woops, first slide!
"Welcome to COMM 327! Why This Subject is Important".

woah, oh...
