Waiting at the University train station for the first time in a while,
and I notice what must a new 'Welcome to Wuni' billboard with what is
obviously an artist's impression of a quite charming building that I'm
certain does not exist anywhere on campus. The Wuniness!

Just wrapped up a very decent trip hanging out in oxford. The conference beforehand was so enjoyable that it gave me serious pause for thought about ditching the academic lifestyle. I went to an evening of electronic music down here last night, and it took me until I got home to really understand how I felt about w'town. Immortalised thusly:

the real problem with booze and thesis

is that if you just keep drinking and keep working, you don't get any of the muscle pain from sitting still that you would if you weren't boozed up. fuck, I'm sore! when I'm sober!
